Barcode Basics 2.3 adds GS1 databars, and more!

Our popular mac barcode creator, Barcode Basics, has now reached the heady heights of version 2.3. The latest version has the largest number of new barcode types we’ve ever added in one go. The bulk of these are GS1 Data Bars designed to represent GS1 GTIN numbers and are as follows:

  • GS1 Databar Omnidirectional
  • GS1 Databar Stacked
  • GS1 Databar Stacked Omnidirectional
  • GS1 Databar Truncated
  • GS1 Databar Limited
  • EAN-14
  • SSCC-18
  • We’ve also added Interleaved 2 of 5 codes for the sake of completeness.

Barcode Basics 2.3 also sees small tweaks to the user interface to better organise the list of codes and make sure the new code numbers can be seen clearly when typed in by a user.

Barcode Basics from Ghostotter is a barcode generator for Mac OS X. It provides professional features like vector output, BWR, code truncation etc whilst maintaining a price that everyone can afford.

You can download a samples of the new codes here: [Barcode Examples]

As always, the upgrade is free for existing users. New users can buy their copy from the Mac App Store by clicking the image below.
